About Me

Welcome! My name is Emma Pines-Schwartz and I am a self-taught front-end developer who enjoys connecting the dots: be it ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, or applications from different industries. I have technical skills and an academic background in engineering, problem solving, and software development.

After earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, I decided I wanted to try something new and I wound up at 42 Silicon Valley, a free, peer-to-peer based, no-classes/no-teachers programming school. After being integrated into the full-time program for about a month, covid quickly hit and I decided it was time to go off on my own to pursue my passions.

My enthusiasm lies in developing clean, efficient, and user-friendly software to support the day-to-day user experience. I am currently seeking internships in a challenging yet supportive community to help progress my professional development.
